Co-Founder and Food Safety and Sanitation Expert
Ms. Wung is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) and has worked in the food safety regulatory industry for 10 years. Her experience includes Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plan and variance writing, food safety training, policy and SOP development, potable water testing and chlorination oversight, kitchen construction plan review, and food safety inspections to ensure compliance with the California Retail Food Code and FDA Model Food Code. Ms. Wung’s professional experience also includes environmental compliance oversight for air, water, soil, and hazardous materials management and permitting. Ms. Wung obtained her Master of Public Health from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health with a concentration in Environmental Health Sciences, and is a certified ServSafe instructor and proctor.
Co-Founder and Business Strategy and Operations
Ms. Kim is a strategy executive driving key initiatives and engagements for over 15 years. Ms. Kim’s experience includes business development, writing compliance CAPs, identifying white space opportunities, and developing product strategy for new growth ventures. Ms. Kim is at the forefront of the changes in California cannabis policies and through WeedSafe, LLC, identifies actionable health and safety plans for cannabis manufacturing and processing companies. Ms. Kim obtained her Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from Columbia Mailman School of Public Health.
Occupational Safety and Industrial Hygiene Expert
Ms. Campbell is an American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) Certified Industrial Hygienist with over 17 years of experience in environmentally-regulated materials (ERM), safety, and industrial hygiene consulting for a number of public and private sector clients in California. Ms. Campbell’s experience includes, development, implementation, and management of health and safety programs; training; health and safety auditing for regulatory compliance; occupational exposure assessments; coordination and execution of ERM surveys, including asbestos and lead-containing materials; abatement specification and work plan preparation; moisture investigations; microbial assessments and remediation oversight; facility decommissioning and verification testing and industrial hygiene program design.
Irradiator Certification and Training Expert
Mr. Weber is an associate health physicist specializing in training, employee certification, and registration of irradiators with the California Department of Public Health for a major research institution in the Los Angeles area. His experience in radiation and laboratory safety includes the management of radioactive waste, radiation instrument calibration, protection and decontamination for I-131 radioablation, dose facilitation for Y-90 radioembolization, distribution of radioactive materials, and the development of a training program and materials for radiation workers. Mr. Weber is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and will be completing his Master of Health Physics at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2019.
Environmental Compliance Expert
Ms. Castillo has over seven years experience managing a high-level, complex environmental compliance program that encompasses both industrial processes and municipal regulatory obligations. She spent more than a decade in the legal field conducting in-depth legal research, interpretation and writing motions before establishing her career in environmental compliance. Ms. Castillo’s experience includes oversight for air emissions programs including the permitting and reporting for power plants and GHG/toxics-emitting industrial equipment, writing and implementing storm water pollution prevention plans, conducting Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures and laboratory compliance inspections, writing hazardous materials business plans and inventories, and evaluating Phase I assessments for soil contamination during real estate acquisitions. Ms. Castillo is an alumna of UCLA and CSUN, and is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist.
